I’m Lily Kramer, a Minneapolis-based birth doula serving families throughout the Twin Cities.

I have always felt called to care for others. My years as a nanny deepened my understanding of how transformative it is to support families during vulnerable and sacred seasons of life. Birth work felt like a natural extension of that calling, a space where presence, knowledge and reverence intersect. 

In a culture that often surrounds birth with fear and urgency, I believe it is essential to return to trust. Trust in your body, trust in informed decision-making, and trust in your own intuition.

As your doula, I offer calm, grounded support while also providing evidence-based information so you can make choices that feel aligned and empowered. My role is not to direct your birth, but to help you feel steady and confident within it.

I believe birth is one of the most sacred rites of passage in the human experience. It is not only the birth of your baby, but the birth of you as a parent.

Whether your path includes medication or not, whether you birth in a hospital, birth center, or at home, you deserve to feel supported, respected, and informed every step of the way.

When I’m not attending births, you’ll find me with a good book, working on a creative project, enjoying live music, or spending time with my husband.

It is a deep honor to walk alongside families during this transformative season.
